FAQs

Services & Pricing

What Services do you offer?

Chris’ Canine Club offers at-home dog boarding, doggy daycare, and drop-in visits. Drop-in visits include potty breaks, walks, and enrichment in the comfort of your own home.

What are your rates?

  • Boarding: Starts at $50/night for one dog and $70/night for two dogs (staying in the same room/playpen).
  • Daycare: $25 for a half-day (up to 4 hours) and $35 for a full day.
  • Holidays & Peak Dates: Please note that additional surcharges apply during holidays, holiday weekends, school breaks, and peak summer weeks (the first and last two weeks of summer break).

Who will be looking after my dog?

As a single-member LLC, I handle all the primary care, including playtime, enrichment, walks, and administrative work. My parents occasionally assist with feedings and potty breaks to ensure every dog stays on their schedule.

Safety & Health

Is Chris’ Canine Club insured?

Yes. I carry two types of professional business insurance to ensure that every aspect of the business, your pet, and my home is fully protected.

What are your cleaning and sanitation protocols?

Safety and hygiene are my top priorities. I use professional-grade disinfectants, sanitizers, and kennel odor eliminators. All surfaces are washed and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommended soak times to ensure a germ-free environment.

What vaccinations are required?

All dogs must be up-to-date on their Rabies vaccination. I also highly recommend vaccinations for Bordetella (kennel cough), Distemper/Parvovirus, and other common boosters to keep the "pack" healthy.

The "Meet & Greet" and Socialization

Are Meet & Greets mandatory?

Yes. To ensure a good fit for everyone, a mandatory tiered Meet & Greet is required before any stay.

  1. Phase 1: An initial introduction between the owners, the pet, and myself in a controlled environment.
  2. Phase 2: If the first meeting is successful, I will determine the best time to introduce your dog to others at a slow, controlled pace during their first stay.
  3. Phase 3: Once they pass these slow introductions, they are eligible for supervised small-group play.

What equipment does my dog need for group play?

For safety reasons, all dogs must wear a flat collar or a harness during group play. Dogs without this equipment will be prohibited from group activities.

Communication & Updates

How often will I hear from you during my dog’s stay?

I provide one update per visit to let you know your pup is happy and healthy. If any health changes occur—such as changes in eating/drinking habits, vomiting, or diarrhea—I will contact you immediately with more frequent updates.

Do I get photos of my pet?

At the end of your pet's stay, I provide a "Pet Report Card." This includes a summary of their time here along with pictures so you can see all the fun they had.
